Dear Parents
We hope you have enjoyed our website. As a Charity we appreciate wholeheartedly the problems that parents of asthmatic children may encounter. Our aim as a Fund is to help parents access information and support you.
Please find below some basic information regarding your child's asthma.
What do you do if your child is having an asthma attack.
- Administer reliever medication immediately (usually blue inhaler)
- Don't panic and try to keep your child as calm as possible
- Wait a few minutes but no more than ten
- If there is no change in your child's condition administer another of the reliever inhaler and contact your doctor or call an ambulance immediately
- Continue to administer the reliever inhaler until help arrives (this will not harm your child)
